mentorship Guidelines
1. Choose a mentor
Read the mentor’s description and decide if this person is the right mentor to help you achieve your goal.
2. Request Online Meeting
Press the “Request” button and fill out a simple questionnaire, upload supporting documents, and provide your availability.
3. Confirm Appointment
You will receive an email within 3-5 business days regarding your request status. Confirm your 15-30 min time slot to receive an online meeting link.
4. Be Prepared
Make sure that you have a clear goal of what you want to get out of the mentoring session and ask specific questions. Think about why you want to talk to this specific mentor instead of getting the answer from a quick Google search.
5. Show up on time
Show up 5-10 min in advance to the online session. Submit materials prior, come prepared with questions, and keep your case concise and to the point.
6. Leave a review
Don’t forget to thank your mentor for their time, follow up, and leave them a good review to help future mentee make easier choices. Request for another appointment at least 2 weeks later.
