What we're looking for in a Storyteller

Storytellers should be able to share stories of their failures and successes as they built their business.
Ideally storytellers should be women and/or LGBTQ entrepreneurs who have already started a business (completed MVP & first sales). Male entrepreneurs invited by another female entrepreneur, with a female cofounder, or with a woman oriented product are also welcome.

Each presentation should be between 5-10 min, with 5 min for questions.
The presentation length may change based on the number of accepted applicants.

Application Process

Applicants should fill out the application form below, which includes a 1 min video giving a brief synopsis of their story.

The best applicants will be selected based on criteria, such as the stages of business, product/services, business model, and presentation style.

Due to limited resources, we ask that all presentations be in English this year.

The deadline to apply as a presenter is Wednesday 1st, Nov 2023.

** Applications are Closed**

Sasha Khabchuk

Originally from Ukraine, Sasha Khabchuk studied in the US before working for Google at various locations around the globe. She credits Google as her first introduction to mindfulness, and this is what inspired her to co-found Prosto, a meditation & sleep app for Eastern Europe promoting conscious and a fulfilling life. She and her company continue to grow in the face of the current conflict in Europe.

Eri Kobayashi

Why do we need to waste our time every morning picking and choosing what to wear when this ultimately leads to overproduction and throwing clothes away? To address this problem, Eri Kobayashi founded an online marketplace where one can hire a personal stylist and receive head-to-toe outfit tailored suggestions from one’s own wardrobe. She hopes to reduce the amount of clothing waste and allow people to be confident in their clothing choices.

Shizuka Nishimura

Shizuka Nishimura is the CEO of LetterMe Inc., which aims to bring people self-fulfillment through letters to one’s future self. She offers an opportunity for people to write a letter to themselves once a month to help others make time to face themselves and help them achieve self-fulfillment.
